Grand Theft Auto 5 - Can I run GTA V under the minimum requirements at a solid 60fps?

Hello Steam Community,
I have Grand Theft Auto 5, and a decent laptop. My only problem is my laptop cannot run the game at a solid 60fps. At first when I got the game I could run it at 2-10 fps, and now after watching loads of helpful youtube video I found out how to lower my settings, and can now run the game at 20-31 fps.
I was wondering if I can run the game even faster, maybe 45-60 fps.
Is there any way to reduce the grahpics settings a LITTLE bit lower (without downloading any other program) so that it can run faster?

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: Inspiron 5558
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-4030U CPU @ 1.90GHz (4 CPUs), ~1.9GHz
Memory: 8192MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 8108MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 12

Well, the 4th gen i3 is rly weak and a decent gpu is missing too for your goal..

The Inspiron 5558 wasn't rly designed for gaming, at least games like gta v.
It's more for media/office

So nothing you can rly do atm, deal with it or refund.

Honestly I can't refund the game, I already tried earlier today, about an hour ago, so I guess I will have to wait till I get a new computer.
BTW, what kid of computer do you have?

BTW, what kid of computer do you have?

All you can do atm, lowering the settings and try to tweak the config/ini for some fps.
But with you hardware ~ 30 fps max. (not avg.) in games like gta v.

7800k + 1080ti

sorry , but your laptop is so not for gaming, not entirely sure how you have managed to rack up 51 hours on GTA with it before it became an issue that you asked for help.

also eymi, why go to the x299 platform, and not use quad channel memory ?
unless you have a very specific need, its not really woreth going to x299 below the 7900x as the 8700k will cover everything else so damn well for gaming / streaming.

although you can find some of the 7800 and 7820x chips really cheap some times.

Ugh mistyped, sry Meant 8700k.
But had also an eye on the 7900x, since it's for the long run, but would never ever use 10 cores :/
So the 8700k is so far the best combo.

Ah that makes more sense, only reason I went to the 7900X is that the lower chips didn't have enough pcie lanes :(

Oh well, I know nothing about pcie lanes, lol. Or had no reason to rly care about.

But yea, the 8700k is the best combo for my need (cad and some gaming) :)
The ti will do the rest ✌️

Yea maybe, but on the other you don't rly have to worry about the lack of power in x yrs :p
