What GPU's have you owned?

Thinking back recently i have had quite a few gpu's over the years, especially when you consider that i rarely upgrade unless i really have to, ie if i start having to turn settings to medium or less i usually think about it :) And yes, i have been a pc gamer for a long time....

Matrox Millenium II 4mb. Terrible for gaming but did the 2d stuff ok.
3DFX Voodoo 4mb. This thing was a beast and needs no introduction.
Ati Radeon 7000 32mb. Dreadful but needed something cheap at the time.
Ati Radeon 9600 128mb. It played Far Cry ok!
Nvidia Geforce FX5900XT 128mb. Expensive and couldnt do dx9 very well (rip HL2) awful card.
Nvidia Geforce 6600 GT 128mb.
Nvidia Geforce 6800 GT 256mb.
Ati Radeon X1950 Pro 256mb. Great card for price, but didn't keep long.
Ati Radeon X1950 XT 256mb. Found this very cheap and quickly replaced the 1950pro.
Ati Radeon HD3870 512mb. Only bought this as x1950xt died after years of WoW abuse:)
Ati Radeon HD5850 1gb. Metro 2033 forced me to buy this. It's memory failed after 9 months.
AMD Radeon HD6870 1gb. This card was my free replacement for my failed 5850.
AMD Radeon HD7970 3gb. Took the plunge and went for a flagship card. No regrets. A beast!
AMD Radeon R9 Fury 4gb. Bought this 14 months ago as wanted a 1440p monitor and the 7970 wasnt up for it. Was going to buy a GTX1070 but the huge outlay for a gsync monitor over the freesync equivalent put me off.

So that's it. Am looking to upgrade again this year but am not paying the current prices so stuck with the Fury for now. Would love a Vega 56 though!

ATI Radeon HD 4350 - My first graphics card.
GTX 550 Ti - First card that let me play with decent graphics.
GTX 750 Ti - Replacement for the 550 Ti since it had some overheating issues.
GTX 1080 - Currently in main rig.
GTX 1060 6GB - Currently in my console-esque PC.

I've had many but can't remember all them. But yes, I remember having a 3DFX Voodoo. Was the main thing back then.

My first high performance card was the Geforce 8800 GT.

Radeon 2600 Pro - Let me play Spore (and later Minecraft) at highest quality when it was new, this card was a bit of a beast at the time

Radeon X300 SE - A GPU in another PC owned by another family member at the same time. Could only play Spore at low detail settings, but it was fine

Radeon RX 480 8GB - My current GPU. It's amazing, and I don't regret buying it

I have owned more cards then I will list, I owned many machines before I started caring about specs and I am too lazy to look for the old ATI/Nvidia AGP cards and check the model.

AMD Radeon Vega 64 Limited edition 8gb - I like it, it hasn't blown up yet.
AMD XFX R9 390x 8gb - It heats up my house really nice. Currently a girlfriend is borrowing it for her gaming rig.
Nvidia GTX 750 1gb - I bought the card and then started playing mainly on console (PS3), so I didn't use it all that much.
ATI Radeon HD 5670 512mb (Asus I think it was) - I hate this card
ATI Radeon HD 5970 2gb (2x) (Sapphire and Reference) - Bought them about a year ago, they look good in my collection.
ATI Sapphire Radeon X1900 XT 512 mb - One of the more recent addition to my collection. I think it has a MAC BIOS on it, Windows detects it but it has no idea what to do with it.
3DFX Voodoo 3500 TV 16mb - Bought it 6 months ago or so. Also looks great in my collection. I made a little improvised adapter to VGA for it since it didn't include that blue box.

ATI XFX HD 4770 512mb - Completely forgot about this one. I bought it for cheap a few weeks ago, unused still in the original box. I haven't done anything with it yet.

Wow, I've never seen another person with a Radeon X-series card. It's like those cards never existed

Had some breaks where I switched to laptops only or didn't have a PC, but this seems about right. Made my first PC as a kid in the 90s.

If you're referring to his X1900 XT, they were pretty much around back in 06, and they performed really well. Don't know where you were back then.

As for myself, I used to collect good GPUs so I easily owned quite a lot. Like at least 25.

Early stuff I'm not really to sure which models as I wasn't really into pcs then.
Some early 3dfx (no idea what I really didn't mess with pcs back then)
Some MX thing (also not sure what, just remember something lol, these two would be like 20 years ago).
First 'proper' card I remember would of been an nvidia 4000 series to play bf1942 on, then ...
Gigabyte 5600,
Asus gtx7800
Asus gtx7900 (warranty replacement for 7800)
Asus 8800GT (updated version)
Zotac GTX470 amp edition
Zotac GTX670 amp edition
Zotac 980GTX amp extreme edition X2 (first sli)
Evga 1080ti ftw3 'elite' x7 (sli) 6 in white 1 in black (two kept, 5 faulty)
AMD Vega 64 early launch version at a huge discount.

Not that many really, I upgrade when I feel the need or have the cash, my money used to all go on drinking, mountain and motor bikes, not my pc, though that has changed in recent years.
