Which 2k monitor, 30-32 inches
Which 2k monitor, 30-32 inches

I currently have: NEC Multisync EA244WMi

I play various games, including FPS, but only for fun, I do not think about any tournaments etc.

I do not want to push in 4k, because I bought a new computer and I think that for its lifespan about 5-6 years, I will be able to play most games on high / max settings in 2k, and in 4k, after some time, maybe only on normal / low

I found something like:

Samsung C32HG70

Asus PB328Q

Can you advise me sth with low response time and low input lag so I wont have ghosting effect. Sth else than TN Display

My GPU is nVidia GTX 1080Ti
Budget is max 600 EUR

EDIT:
Preferred screen proportions - 16:9

Not very familiar with ultrawide, but i think you'll have to invest much more if you want something that's 2K also ...

Gaming performance:

Consider 1440p resolution with 165Hz G-SYNC, IPS panel and fast response rate.
Ideally: ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q or Acer Predator XB271HU

Graphics perfomance:

If you are more of a pixel perfectionist and do mostly graphic work, with a bit of gaming on the side, consider: Dell UltraSharp 27 inch or larger

(These aren't the cheapest, but you will get a quality image and performance, without ghosting, better viewing angles, and richer/brighter colours too - You might want to mention budget otherwise, I only work with quality, no glimmick products)

Remove G-SYNC, higher refresh rate and IPS panel, go with TN panel which has faster response time for a cheaper price tag.

Honestly however, it's not much of an upgrade then. You would be better off sticking with old school 1080p resolution using that IPS for now, toggle on V-SYNC to cap FPS from going over, and save up. Your graphics card is a beast, which could handle those previously suggested monitors extremely well for hardcore gaming purposes. However, it can only dish out as much as the monitor can handle.

You are looking at 70% pixel increase going from 1080p to 1440p resolution. Which is still good, but not a jaw dropping difference in quality, unless you are looking for more desktop work space, etc.

In my case it gets only about the size, since watching netflix on 24" from 5 meters is almost like watching it on a mobile phone. I don't want a downgrade in image quality, it can be similiar but not worse, since NEC doesnt smugde or have ghosting effect - at least at the level noticeable for me. So how about those 2 I mentioned that are in my price range?

So do you always play at like 5m (really? That's a really long way to sit from a screen, if I swapped my lounge round and watched TV like that my 65 inch screen would be to small), or is this a second screen for couch gaming / TV use?
In which case, perhaps just get a 50+ inch TV instead?

Also, what resolution are you refering to by 2k? I've seen it used for 1920x1080 (1080p) 2560x1440 (1440p) and even 3840x2160 (4k), it's a really bad term for resolution.

I play sitting about 70 cm from screen. Since i lack of free space, I'm trying to find compromise between comfortable gaming - close range, and comfortable watching - long range. 2K for me is 2560x1440 (1440p).

After all that being written i cannot simply buy 50"+ TV and play on it at 70 cm range

ahh i see the issue, i know you didnt want to go tgo 4k, but perhaps the philips 40 inch 4k monitor at around £500 could be a good fit for your needs of watching and gaming if you can be happy at 60Hz https://www.scan.co.uk/products/40-philips-4k-ultra-hd-curved-monitor-3840x2160-4ms-300cd-m2-40001-4x-usb-30-2x-dp-2x-hdmi-vga-2x-5w?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIstTwspTg2QIVTLHtCh3vqwDAEAQYASABEgKN7_D_BwE&v=c

thing is the selection of monitors at that size is pretty slim, you could step up to 1440p ultra wide (3440x1440) https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-B346CK-inch-Ultra-Wide-Monitor/dp/B01A3VA9NI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1520630446&sr=8-3&keywords=acer+3440x1440

https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-XUB3490WQSU-B1-ProLite-Ultra-Monitor/dp/B01AHR7REW/ref=pd_sbs_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HAMM1NAMA17GKPC0PJ24

but you will loose some of the other benefits of a more traditional 27inch 1440p display at that price, like 144/165Hz and gsync, but bigger screens do kind of limit your options sadly.
