[Help] ASUS VG279Q Calibration [Best settings]
Hi^, sorry to bother you, I would like some recommendations for my VG279Q monitor's settings, considering that my games titles are 90% in the rpg genre like the Witcher 3, Nioh, Sekiro, and so on. So far I've changed:
Brigthness 23 ~ Color temp --> user R 94 / G 93/ B 100 ; mode is set to RTS/RPG.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Nothing to change just switch to one of the MANY presets it has, such as Theatre which is well suited for games and movies. The monitor has a button on it to cycle through all those presets. Make sure AI lighting is disabled, along with the Demo Mode.

@Bad Motha did you meant Cinema Mode as for the preset and Blue Light Filter for AI lighting?

No, cycle through Splendid Presets. Should offer ones with names like... Standard, Theatre, Gaming, RGB... and some others, forgot the names of them. You can also set to one of them and then edit it. If you some how don't like your changes later you can factory reset the monitors onboard settings to reset the profiles back to their original defaults.

@Bad Motha the game visuals that I have aka presets are:
Scenary Mode ~ Racing Mode ~ Cinema mode ~ RTS/RPG Mode ~ FPS Mode~ sRGB mode ~Moba mode.

Which one do you suggest me to use?

Load up a game and try each one.
Get used to switching through them though. As usually one is really good for OS Desktop, one for Movies, one for Games. Of course it will come down to your eyes and overall personal preference, especially also depending on ambient room lighting.

The sRGB one is good for things like Photoshop, as this should provide the most accurate colors without too much brightness, contrast, etc.

This actually requires you to wear red and blue 3D glasses.

Bring up a standard color bar. Use one lens at a time.

Through the red lens, the magenta bar should blend in with its neighbors. Through the blue lens, green and blue should disappear. Get both as close as possible, then adjust the contrast until you don’t see any color bleed.
