Most CAD will want an Nvidia gpu.
Best bet is a 2060 Super or better.
Get a better PSU like a Corsair RMX 650w
The 2060 Super is also a good option, thank you :)
Though the RX5700 is a really tempting offer for this price. What do you mean by 'picky about GPU's'?
Anyway, for what I can see, inventor doesn't use GPU for computation:

This means that you should probably choose your GPU based on games performance.
There seem to be some issues with AMD drivers indeed. Not only in CAD programs, but also in games I like the drivers don't seem to be working properly.
I think I am going for the 2060 Super (Gigabyte Windforce OC), at a price of €420. It also seems to be running cooler and more efficient, so thats a plus...
Thank you for your help!
At least 32gb 3200 ram
RTX 2060 Super or better
Couple ssd also helps.
But when I ran a stress test, (Furmark) one fan starts to rattle at medium fan speed, around 50-60%.
It is also present when playing games.
I've searched around on several forums, and most of the answers are "the fan bearing may have gone bad". This shouldn't be very likely for a card that hasn't even been used for 1 day, or is it?
Where exactly would I apply the WD-40?
