Need help with compatibility on new pc specs
So my current PC Specs are
CPU - AMD FX-6300
Motherboard - ASRock 760GM-HDV
Memory - 16GB DDR3 Ram
GPU - Radeon RX 560

This was a prebuilt purchase when i was kinda younger and didnt want to wait for all the parts to get here for building a pc so i went ahead and bought a prebuild one (rookie mistake)

But now i want to upgrade my Fx-6300 processor to a ryzen 5 2600 and my GPU to a gtx 1060

The only problem im having is i am not sure if my ram / motherboard is compatible with the ryzen 5 2600, if theres anything you guys can help me i would greatly appreciate it :)

if your not gonna overclock get a decent B 450 board then .. gigabyte is a brand i also use alot and have had zero problems with .. everyone hates ASUS boards .. i have always had good luck with them

I would LOVE to overclock my gpu and cpu but i could never play around with it cause everytime ive tried to overclock the rig i have now i encounter problems and end up setting my bios back to normal
well i think your need an X series if you wanna overclock .. not sure again as i do not use AMD cpu's ..but i can say do not cheap out on your motherboard ..always buy the best motherboard you can afford

thats why i like the asus rog ones they have an auto OC feature in the bios you can use to test an OC then you can go in and manually tune your settings

The msi tomahawk is a good one.

You just have to go up slowly, if it crashes lower the OC and do stability tests there.

You don't need the X series.

Also i feel this is worth mentioning, i have a 450watt power supply, would this be enough power to run everything, i know it is for the graphics card alone but idk about the whole system. From what i read i should be able to get away with it
get a better PSU ..450 watt is not gonna cut it ..

Nope, recommended PSU is 400W. And even then you'll never hit 400W, OP will be fine.

OP what's the specific PSU model? The wattage is enough but if it's a cheap model it might not do so well.
