Purchased an i7 7700k to replace i5 7600k
So I just decided to purchase an i7, as I wish I intended to do so from the start, and I'm curious if anyone has done the same upgrade. Based on some research and youtube analysis, CPU intensive games seem to have more stability and lower CPU usage (i.e Battlefield 1). This also resulted of people saying the had a smoother experience.

Not really a great cooler, I'd ditch that as well. At least aim for a 240mm AIO for future. That model is old and just not too great in general. Why save $30 when you can get way superior cooler? If you stick with air, you can get a giant tower that will surprass that H75 for the same money for sure.
I don't have a large enough case to fit 240mm fans. What are my other options for good liquid coolers

Then why liquid cooling. With 240mm a tower cooler will cool better then an AIO. A 280mm liquid cooling is o. The level of a tower cooling and with 360mm you only start to better then tower coolers.

Any liquid cooler not for the optics is a no brained.

Like I wrote above:
Noctua NH-D15
BeQuoet Dark Rock Pro 4
What is the best water cooling AIO right now please ? If possible with three fans.
NZXT Kraken x72
Thermaltake Water 3.0 Ultimate

Below that AIO and "merely" on the level of those tower coolers mentioned above.
With the NZXT Kraken x72 must I run the CAM software for the AIO to work ?

no but for controlling the RGB and fine tuning like custom pump and fan curve. Beside that CAM is really usefull monitoring tool on top. You should use it with a Kraken the custom fan curve is more effective and silent then then preset Silent Fancurve. Switching pump speed realitvily high depending on CPU temperature and and the fan speed medi core high (higher then normal) for liquid temperature gives an overall better coolign performance and as the luid stays colder you stay in long term at slower RPM then with the silent fan curve and more silent.
I really do not like the CAM software, wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to log in with a social media account or any sort of login.

If I was going for a 360mm AIO I would go with the Corsair H150i pro.

you dont need to login with social media. you can alway continue as guest. which doesnt even require an internet connection and still saves alls ettings.

I know, I would rather the program just work like corsair and not have me clicking continue as guest everytime I turn on my RIG, stupid idea to try and keep tabs on people that use an AIO cooler.

I only set up CAM once when I need it and then clsoe it and only restart if I want make changes. The settings work also when the program doesnt run anymore.

I do the same, but I would rather not worry about doing any of this like my rig with Corsair that just works when booted. Wanting my personal info in the first place is enough to not buy NZXT AIO's again.
