How do I completely shut down Bitdefender 2018
Just got a license key for Bitdefender 2018 but affects game performance a lot. Can you tell me how to completely shut down its services and processes? I tried shutting down its processes but says it is denied.

do not completely shutdown an antivirus. either your trust and let it do its thing or uninstall it.

Simply open it > click Profiles and set to Game
This is a Gaming Mode which cuts back big time on auto scanning and things that could possibly interfere with gaming in general.

Bitdefender and Kaspersky are great AV and shouldn't eat your fps. Use gaming mode like Bad_Motha suggested, it's in your profiles.

Also go into Exclusions; add the whole \Steam folder to that
And any other Game Client's root folder; since there is no reason to scan them and they will be scanned anytime u run a Full Scan anyways.
