If you have HDMI in, then you have a video input on your computer. You can use this to view/record that video input if you have the proper software to do so. Post your computer specs and what OS you're running.
windows 10 and integrated nvidia videocard. there is not much to say that would be of use

Post the make and model of the computer or a picture of the HDMI in port on the computer.
PCs do not have any "Video Inputs" at all; you need a Capture Card; either internal PCIE HD Capture, or external USB 3.x variant
My pc is an alienware alpha
Ok yes that has HDMI In & Out
However that was implemented more as a pass-through for when using an Alpha in the Living Room setting along side maybe other HDMI devices such as Bluray Player or other Game Console, the HDMI-In on the Alpha could act as a pass-through to the Display if that Display happens to lack available HDMI Inputs.

So yes you can try connect the Switch to the HDMI-In on your Alpha; however you will require HD Recording Software installed on the Alpha in order to capture any video. And I can't be sure that will work due to how Nintendo and Sony for example are fairly strict on HDCP Encoding.
