pc stress test
what would happen if i could strees test cpu and gpu and memory at same time would my pc overheat

I think that's one of the main points of the stress test, is to monitor temps while it's running as well as seeing how stable it is.

I usually do the memory test separately with memtest, then run prime95 along with a gpu test like furmark, and also hit my HDDs with a full RW pass at the same time (easiest from a linux usb before I even install the OS, then I can script the temp monitor to auto-shutdown).

I first do with the lid off the case and check temps with forced air from a desk fan, then without the fan, then closed-lid and adjust case fans as necessary.

For benchmarking I would always test each part individually, just to make absolutely sure there's no interference fudging your data. But for outright reliability testing, nothing beats a combined CPU/GPU/RAM barrage test. It's the closest you can get to gaming conditions.

Any serious gaming PC should be stable under all circumstances, no matter how extreme. It should handle this without any problems.
