1. You will need to disable your onboard audio chipset via the BIOS.
2. Download and install the drivers for your speaker system, it is an external audio card and stereo reciever combo.

3. Make sure to learn the settings in there arnd see whast each one does...Install the latest of everyhting in step 2.....Starting With the latest drivers and then the firmware
It should be noted that some stereo recievers will output to specific speeakers desginated as left, right, center, etcetera etcetera....no matter where you plug them in. So it may be that one of your speakers are also plced incorrectly if your issues still persist after the driver installation.
For instance...I have a Creative Soundblaster Omni external sound card. It comes with special software that allows me to specifically configure it.

Big question, have you tried testing this when a sound involves being simulated behind you in any way?
