Decent motherboard between $100-160?
Hello guys! It seems that my motherboard has the grahics card slots corrupted or detiriorated or something because I have done various tests personally and everything seemed alright except that. When I inserted my graphics card everything would turn on but the image would not project on my monitor; it stayed black. I tested it with another graphics card I also have and the same thing happened. Although I could use my PC if I directly connected the monitor to the motherboard. So alone I confirmed that it most probably was my motherboard. I also sent it for a more thorough check on a PC store, and alas, they confirmed it was the motherboard as well. Now, forgive me for this because for the life of me I cannot remember the name of my motherboard. It is an old one but I do know that it began with Z77..... probably from 2011.

So my setup is this:
CPU: i5 2500K 3.4GHz (Originally overclocked to 4.4GHz)
GTX 670 2gb
8gb ram
800 watt power supply

My build is quite old but it still works for the games I play. I don't want a super powerful system atm (Money circumstances and I also game in multiple platforms). So can u guys recommend me a DECENT, not overly priced, motherboard? A more dated one. I don't need one with 4way SLI xD. Just something that can work and is upgradable(For future builds) to a reasonable degree.
I appreciate the feedback!

For that CPU, good luck, there really isn't anything left for those 2nd/3rd Gen CPU unless you track down a used board.

There is no upgrade options, what you have is a dead-end.
Nothing uses even DDR3 anymore.

Then this means that I have to basically upgrade everything, including RAM right? I had the feeling the time had to come knowing how old the build is. Now I ask you this, is it possible to upgrade the cpu, motherboard and RAM and pay less than $400 overall on every component? My GPU is fine and I don't plan on upgrading that yet. I know I'm asking for a lot, but I just need a general outline and then I will research myself more thoroughly. Definetly I would go for an I5 cpu, so what could be a decent one that is not very outdated at the moment? For ram I could go 16gbs but if is too costly ill go 8gb again. I still wish I could find a new motherboard ranging from 100-200 dollars. Sorry again if this is much to ask but I appreciate your help.
Good day

I would comb PCPartPicker.

Z370 motherboard
Core i5-8600k
2x4GB or 4x8GB DDR-4-2400 RAM.

Thank you for the outline. Roughly it'll sum up to almost 500 dollars but I'll play with the money I have atm. I just needed a head start on what to search for. Thanks!

Your best bet is eBay and hope it's a good'un anything else will cost you hundreds as you'll need to replace mobo, ram and CPU.
