There is no upgrade options, what you have is a dead-end.
Nothing uses even DDR3 anymore.

Then this means that I have to basically upgrade everything, including RAM right? I had the feeling the time had to come knowing how old the build is. Now I ask you this, is it possible to upgrade the cpu, motherboard and RAM and pay less than $400 overall on every component? My GPU is fine and I don't plan on upgrading that yet. I know I'm asking for a lot, but I just need a general outline and then I will research myself more thoroughly. Definetly I would go for an I5 cpu, so what could be a decent one that is not very outdated at the moment? For ram I could go 16gbs but if is too costly ill go 8gb again. I still wish I could find a new motherboard ranging from 100-200 dollars. Sorry again if this is much to ask but I appreciate your help.
Good day
Z370 motherboard
Core i5-8600k
2x4GB or 4x8GB DDR-4-2400 RAM.
Thank you for the outline. Roughly it'll sum up to almost 500 dollars but I'll play with the money I have atm. I just needed a head start on what to search for. Thanks!
