Like how much bass are you trying to get? Because sounds like your best option is to get a quality headphone made, for bass.
You'd be better satisfied with proper headphones. For the same price, you can get proper audio from an actual audio manufacturer.
If you want bass, then go for headphones that are tuned towards the low end. One really good one in the price range of the Kraken is the Audio Technica ATH-WS770iS, which is currently $70 for the gun metal/gold and $80 for the black/red on Amazon. These would make that Kraken headset look like the toy it really is.
I agree, both with the sentiment and with his recommendation.
Razer are terrible. They do occasionally make great stuff, but then again monkeys punching typewriters will occasionally produce works of poetry. Their headsets are god-awful, even the really expensive ones like the Tiamat. And I can tell you that from personal experience because I've owned a Razer headset and it really was terrible.
Always buy Audio gear from specialist Audio companies. You'll save a bunch of money, and get way better sound quality. I can particularly recommend Beyerdynamic - if you like bass, you'll love them. Even their affordable headphones can cause earthquakes.
