Corsair Gaming VOID Wireless RGB mic problems
Corsair Gaming VOID Wireless RGB 7.1 Gaming Headset

Last I known the microphone was working fine. Haven't used it in maybe like 2 weeks, just the headset part for listening. Anyways, went to play with some friends and my mic is not picking anything up. It's in device manager and shows in the sounds/settings fine. However, it appears not to register any sound into the mic at all as the little bar levels do nothing when talking into it. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, updating the firmware/corsair cue suite, powering on/off, tried several different usb ports, screwed around with some options in sound settings and it still doesn't pick up voice. I thought maybe the headset itself was possibly damaged. But I plugged it into another computer of mine with the same OS (Windows 10 x64) and immediately it is working fine on that computer. Leads me to believe this may be some kind of Windows 10 issue on my PC alone or I have something disable somewhere that I shouldn't have. I do not know and am running out of ideas. If anyone has suggestions please let me know! Thank you!

MS dropped an update on the 1st May which breaks mics. Fix: Control Panel > Privacy> Microphone. make sure its turned on and its turned on for your app. This fixes most games that are listed in the apps, but if its not listed like "Steam" isnt listed, then you stuck like I am.

Ah man wtf seriously. Lol, great yeah I tried that as well too. Dang.

Nevermind, I had Microphone option off to allow apps. Turned it on, now it works! Thanks!
