I'd like G-Sync, of course. It seems nice. I'll definitely buy a G-Sync television once they make one that is large and affordable enough. I've never noticed input lag on any of my televisions over the years when they're in Game Mode, though I've never played a game with a mouse, so maybe there is some perceptible delay I don't know about. My mouse pointer movement feels the same on my television at home as on my monitor at work.
Sorry to the OP. This is off topic.
The difference between a TV and a good monitor is night and day, same for a good mouse and an office mouse to be fair.
I know, I saw a store in offer where you can pre-order the upcoming 4k 144 hz HDR g-sync monitor. More than 2000,--! That's way more than I'm willing to spend on a monitor (off-topic: I heard the monitor should be released end of april and that's already behind us. Wondering what is going on with that). I do think that I will stick with a 4k monitor without G-sync, but will wait for when a new batch of videocards arrive to see if prices will drop for the GTX 1080 TI (and perhaps a new monitor will arrive at that time with 4k, gsync HDMI 2.0 and HDR. We will see).
Thanks everyone for your help.
