Geforce GTX 1050ti gaming x 4G for H81-plus motherboard

Hello i wanted today to buy the mentioned gpu and of the computers techs told me the gpu may fits the motherboard but the outbound process won't work well i don't know what's the outbound process,however he says it won't respond for good for your motherboard can i know why,how or is it true?

GPU will work on any motherboard; it's PCIE x16, that's all there is to it.

For the PCIE to be too old to then be much slower; it would basically have to be an older LGA-775 Motherboard. Everything newer than that will do just fine.

GTX 1050 Ti is a low end GPU anyways; u wont need a beefy CPU for that to shine well.

What is the CPU model that you will be using?

You need a better translator because outbound process doesn't mean anything hardware related. I think he might've been talking about 1050 Ti being PCI-E 3.0 conpatible card and your motherboard having only PCI-E 2.0 but this should not have a big impact on performance, especially on a low end GPU like 1050 Ti.

TL;DR Just buy it.

Reason why behind this is if this going to be cooler issue, meaning a capacitor being in the way of the gpu on the board.

PCIE spec 2.xx will make zero difference on such a low-end GPU.
They always make the PCIE specs allowing for much higher capable bandwidth then any GPU can output for years to come, they do this on purpose so the Slot doesn't fall behind before GPUs can catch up.

You also will need to rely on a Digital Display w/ DVI-D, HDMI, or DP.
If you wish to use VGA any longer with RX 4xx series or GTX 10xx series of GPUs or later
you will need to purchase an "active DP to VGA cable"

His monitor would have to be like 15 years old to have only VGA and active cables are more expensive than used monitors with DVI and HDMI.

If it works now it will work going into the future, the only thing that makes sense is they mean you just won't be able to max any new games out.

It will work now and just as good in the future.

Either the sales clerk had no idea what he was talking about or you're doing a bad job at repeating what he said. Anyway, just ignore everything he said and buy it.

Sales clerk is new or the lines of communication got messed up, a 1050 ti will not be held back by anything in your system. If it's the GPU you want buy it.

Thank you but i already ordered the 1050ti gaming x and i believe it has a good performance than the normal 1060
