The GTX1050ti should get you where you want to be but remember the cpu is still pretty bad but the 1050ti will net you more fps increase than a new cpu would.

I would actually recommend getting Windows 10 Pro 64bit. You'll have a ton more control over your system.

You can use your current PSU unless you want to upgrade to one that is more efficient but that's up to you.

You have a weak CPU and weak GPU. It's not a gaming PC at all.
If you have £500 budget, I recommend buying a whole new PC.
Except HDD, which you can reuse.

PS: I was thinking about listing Ryzen 1600, but saw few benchmark, i3 8100 is winning in majority of the games.
so do you rekon this would run fortnite at a playable fps?

hi i agree with the parts that are listed in tha parts picker list thing is you could use your old case and save abit off money also put the parts you are replacing for sale on ebay but befor you do a complete rebuild off the system just buy the gtx 1050 and try it out with your current system also buy the power supply at the same time you will need the extra power

also found some replacement quadcore cpus that will fit your motherboard
https://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/cpu-amd/a-series-multi-core-socket-fm2plus

so you only need 3 things not a complete rebuild a new cpu a gtx 1050 praphics card and at lest a 500w power supply

here you go quad core cpu gtx1050ti and 500w power supply

just done another for you swapping the gtx 1050 ti with a gtx 1060 6gb

Hey folks..don't skimp out on getting an optical drive. It sounds crazy, but DVD burners are quite handy when you need to have a physical copy of a Windows 10 "Edition"/service pack to install upgrades.

Just get the GTX1050ti or GTX1060 for now then save up and do your other mobo/cpu/ddr4 upgrade right without skimping too much aim for the amd Ryzen 2600 or the intel i5 8400.

Ps and yes if you just do the GPU you really should upgrade the psu too.
