My PC is producing desktop.ini
It's everywhere! My download folder.... User folder, and even Steam folder! How can I solve this problem?

This file is normally hidden, but if it's not, you can easily hide it. The file itself contains folder customisation configs, window dimension info etc. To hide the file globally, do the following:

Open an Explorer window.

On the toolbar click on the View tab, you will see a check-box option labeled 'Hidden items'. Uncheck this box and your problem will be solved.

Desktop.ini is visible because you have un-ticked "Hide important system files" within Folder Options. This reveals important OS files that the average user does not need to see. Leave this checkbox marked (as is the default) to avoid seeing needless files like Desktop.ini within folders and such.

In Win8.1/10 yes press WINKEY+E and then press ALT+V > Options or Folder Options; how ever that last button/wording is stated in your OS.
