With Win10 you can be back to where you were in no time if you know what you're doing and prep for it.
No need to do a clean install with every OS update. I haven't done a clean OS update in over a year and never had any issues with Windows 10. Just so there isn't any issues, I just uninstall GPU drivers and sound card drivers and reinstall them..... much quicker than doing a clean install which requires backing up all your files and that's time consuming if you haven't done it in a long time.
Anyways, I like the new update. I'm impressed with how slick it feels. Everything feels smoother like opening tabs and moving mouse cursor navigating and browsing stuff.
I was referring more to worst-case scenario. Some folks have zero troubles and some have all sorts of issues. The bigger issue is folks not understand the OS they are using, nor taking the time to take control and configure it properly for their usage needs and also staying on-top of things in general.
I would have to say you are one of the lucky users who's encountered few issues along the way; that is good, but overall there will be many users, or simply combination of hardware configs that might not be so lucky.
I'd like to think a majority of users are not only smart overall, but encounter fewest as possibles issues as a user. But that varies alot depending on what exactly we're discussing.
Overall I'm glad to see you've had little issues over your time as a Windows OS user.
Many folks may even run into various issues along the way; simply because they can't do much if anything about the specs they have in their lap, or they may have something faulty in the mix that hasn't been revealed fully yet, such as faulty RAM or a HDD thats on its death-bed.
Cheers
