what is all the black motion blur type stuff ? please help me !!!!!
i have just recently started getting a thick black trail around everything when i move around in games and on windows like if i minimise steam then move it around my desktop my specs are

I5-8600k
gtx-1060 6gb
asus strix z370 micro atx
2x8gb corsair 3000 ram
gold rated corsair 650 psu
corsair 240 water cooler
Acer Predator Z-35 2560x1080 ultrawide screen

i have tried everything iuncluding full windows reset from a usb and tried older graphics drivers the only thing that seems to help is turning overdrive from normal to off on screen settings but then i get far to much motion blur and i have always had this set to normal if i set it to the overdrive to extreme it gets even worse i am also getting the odd stutter when i am playing but not alot.

please help !!!!

It's quite common for graphical bugs to not appear in Steam game screenshots. Run the game in windowed mode and take a screenshot of the desktop with the printscreen button on your keyboard, then simply open Paint aim your mouse in it and press CTRL + V on your keyboard.

Did you use overdrive settings on your monitor? Some monitors show motion blur when you use overdrive.

This may help. It seems to be an inherent monitor issue.

Somebody is saying to use ULMB, but there are drawbacks depending on the game. Here is a review.
