My computer keeps getting a "Thread stuck in driver" BSOD, it doesn't really seem to matter if the computer is hot since it will crash instantly upon starting sometimes.

I reset my OS, installed new amd drivers, and messed around with the power settings after a google search mentioned that being the issue.

I bought it on Amazon, so by the time I got it the year long warranty had only two months on it, and these issues did not show up until too late.

Some users of Lenovo seem to have similar issues, but Lenovo tech required me to prove it was a hardware issue and not a operating system error, which I could do not due to my busy school schedule and reliance on the computer for my Solidworks class.

Don't reset the OS, do a propper clean install of the OS.

Download the Media Creation Tool from the Microsoft website. It can found here[www.microsoft.com]. Then use the Media Creation Tool to download and mount the Windows 10 installation files on a flash drive. Then once the tool is done go in to the BIOS and boot from the flash drive.

If you don't have any important data on the laptop you should delete all partitions on the "Where do you want to install Windows?" screen.

If you do have some data that is important keep pressing next during the whole installation and answere Yes to the question "Do you want to create a Windows.old?" but then we do have to manually remove the Windows.old later again after you have copied your data from it.

Okay, I figured the Windows 10 reset was a fresh installation, but apparently not.
