One of the things many seem to think is that max means best, but fail to understand individual settings and what they actually do.
For example, there are many games that give you multiple anti aliasing options. You do not need to use them all. Too many people seem to think they need to be running 2 or more aliasing methods maxed out to have the game look good, fail to understand they are actually running the game in 8K or something similarly silly with another intensive AA method or two on top of that, then blame the game or hardware when it doesn't run well.
My advice for all gamers is to learn the settings, rather than crank everything up ignorantly.
I7 7700k
16GB ram
Depends on the game, lot of them have crap optimization and wont run well even with Ti.
Say it to the modern AAA titles that recommend at least a GTX 1070...
GRW get 1080p ultra settings barely 75fps with a GTX 1080 Ti and its not badly optimized just very demanding graphics in certain areas.
Also a half year ago was a GTX 1060 6GB the norm for 1080p. Now it is a 1070 and the tendency is raising to higher demands as games evolve too.
But tbh any of those GPUs are fine for 1440p
I currently have a 1440p 144hz monitor by Zowie (Main use is for csgo) and I can get 60fps in most games (pubg, far cry 5, bf1, gta) just a slightly LOWER settings like medium/high and I run a R9 280X from 2013 lmao, Any of those cards will be fine, just dont expect 144 fps or something xd
Yes I agree.
This article about GPU pricing trends[pcpartpicker.com] might be a good place to start when deciding. Things like bit coin mining, politics and other factors have inflated the cost.
