Why isn't my computer running well on GTA V?

Okay so please don't make fun of my lack of knowledge and probably an obvious answer, but I have an I3 4150 and a gtx 750 TI with 6gb of ram but this video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jBL-3sshwro
Shows that they have only 2 more gb of ram and they run the game extremely better than me. Is it because of the ram? Is there a difference that this person has that I'm missing or what's going on.

Like I said, it's probably an obvious answer but I'm a noob when it comes to this so please help me out :C

What is the exact issue you are having with GTA V? A low fps? Stutter/freezes?

Just low fps on the lowest settings possible. Like I don't care about graphics so if I could run 60 fps on like low settings all the time it'd be okay but I get freezeing every now and then when driving real fast and I get like 40-80 fps while running around not doing much.

I thought maybe they over clocked but they claim they didn't over clock anything at all either, so I really don't know what else could be different besides either storage or ram

Gta 5 is cpu intensive. You have a very weak cpu in terms of single threaded performance. On top of that, If you are running this gane on an old hard-drive it is expected to run this game very badly.

Yes but the video if you watched it has the same specs as me and is running amazingly?

What resolution? Antialiasing?

Part of your problem might be your pc is polluted with crap, run Superantispyware and Malwarebytes then defrag if you're on HDDs.

IIRC, grass coverage in gta 5 is a performance killer.

And yes i3 cuts into FPS but you should manage a playable rate fine ^.

Sorry but those specs are not going to run GTAV @ 1080p well at all.
