Hyper X Cloud Stinger background static.
I can hear a really tiny static in the background while using it. I might be picky as its really hard to hear, but i wondered if there was a way to fix it? Everything elce is working fine. The static is really small but it only makes the sounds on my Main computer. Other devices do not make static with the Hyper X Cloud Stinger.

If you are using the on-board sound card it is possible that in itself is the problem, you can try switching between the front panel and rear panel jacks and see if that resolves it.

If not a cheap USB sound card like this[www.amazon.com] would work.

Most likely your computers sound card. You can pick up a cheap USB sound card on amazon, you might need a splitter cable though if the headset doesn't already come with one.
I don't have a sound card though, and I'm using the spillter cable on my headset.

All computers have soundcards, you have a built-in Audio Codec at the back. Usually a Realtek ALC1151, but some high-end machines have Creative Soundblaster or SupremeFX models.

Headphone static comes from poor insulation. If the Soundcard isn't well insulated, interference from other nearby electrical pathways can cause a static effect.

There's virtually nothing you can do about it. If you were using high-end HiFi or Music headphones you could replace the soundcard with a USB Digital/Analogue converter, but with your current setup that would be a huge waste of money.
