Routerlogin.net QUESTION
So my parents recently added a password to the router sign in and I was wondering if I reset my NETGEAR Nighthawk X8, AC5000 if it would reset the username and password to the routerlogin.net

most likely, that is probably just an internal DNS entry on the router to redirect to your router page at 192.168.1.1 best consult with them about any reconfiguration since they are paying the bills lol...
Your Router should have a RESET button that you will need a paperclip or something similar to press it. Look for said button and the Router will reboot and also back to factory default settings.

Yes, everything will be at the factory defaults including the admin login and password.

Modem/Router "reset" button resets everything to factory defaults, even the login info.
This is why Modems/Routers have an exterior sticker with the default info on it, because this still holds true when you do a complete reset.

Everything will have to be reconfigured if you do a reset. So if you're gonna turn off that internet scheduler then remember to set the router up with the same SSID (network anme) and WPA2-PSK (password) so they won't notice ;)
