Steelseries Rival 100 problem

My mouse sometimes flicking by itself. I already bought 1 rival 100 and 1 rival 100 dota edition. But they have same problem. Help me fix this mouse

Do a fresh install of SteelSeries Engine?

Ie.

• Download SteelSeries Engine[steelseries.com].
  
• Uninstall SteelSeries Engine via Add/Remove Programs.
  
• Install SteelSeries Engine via the file you just downloaded.

Ensure 'Enhanced Pointer Precision' is off.
Ensure 'Pointer Speed' has no multiplier.

Already and still have same problem

I had this problem with a Razor Naga, it was due to a faulty sensor. If that's what it is, I don't know if you can fix it. Maybe you can RMA it.

Ordinarily I'd agree with Maleko and assume this was a sensor problem. That's certainly what it sounds like. But last night somebody else was reporting exactly the same problem with the very latest Steelseries firmware.

What I recommend doing, is downloading a much earlier version of Steelseries Engine and running that. This should confirm whether this is genuinely a hardware problem(a defective sensor) or just an issue with the latest firmware.

If that still doesn't help, contact Steelseries and request replacement under Warranty. Whatever you do, don't buy another Rival. A brand that sells you two defective products in succession isn't worth bothering with.
