Keyboard not working on MSI GE70 when Steel Series is running

After using an external mouse for the first time in months, my keyboard stopped working. I found out that it only happens when Steel Series is running and does not happen otherwise. Without steel series, the backlight will not work, which is something that I need. I've tried system restoring and uninstalling and reinstalling SS, but it hasn't worked. Any help would be appreciated.

It should do that; why would u want both to function at the same time?

A certain backlight config should remain in the Keyboards ROM after you set it.
Try setting this with the software, then reboot and uninstall said software.
