Others have had issues the last month...
https://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?/topic/393838-kis-2018-update-today-25042018-close-ccleaner-when-execute-comand-clean/
Update it firstly, then check if it's still having issues.
KIS is no issue for me, it's only ever triggered a warning once about a certain 32-bit version of CCleaner and that was a positive warning due to a malicious employee (who's been fired) infecting it once it was getting the SSL certificate (not the company itself).
That was in: CCleaner v5.33.6162 and CCleaner Cloud v1.07.3191 for 32-bit Windows users

tried the latest version. as soon as I either update to a new version or reinstall the same one, the bug kicks in. Its definitely kaspersky related because if I uninstall kaspersky, the crashes stop.
Perhaps you are blocking via Application Control, which doesn't need any patch to fix, you just need to go More Tools > Application Control > Manage Applications > Right-click > Restrictions > Trusted - also click that 'Clean up' button while you are at it.
What are you talking about...
Kaspersky Internet Security is one of the best application controls + firewalls.

In the latest version A/V test (for version 18.0.0.405h). Beats MalwareBytes Premium this time around, but similar in quality.
And I've never had my own system crash once in it's entire lifetime... There's either something funky with that installed version, drive corruption, RAM (memory access) damage/locked, or CCleaner is attempting to access addresses it's not meant to (because it's infected). They are the legit latest versions right?
Fault module "StackHash" is normally related to "Data Execution Prevention" used back in Win 7 OS. It's the Operating System itself which is crashing out, but the question is why? What's is it trying to access (locked or corrupted)?
Doesn't matter; u never need them, period.
All you need is Malwarebytes.
Kaspersky is an over bloated and overpriced junk that is just as bad as Nortons. That is not an opinion. If you are gaming, ditch every little piece of needless junk on that PC, you don't need it.
If you want a more secure config for internet stuff; then setup a Linux partition or something along those lines, with your tech tools installed on that. Allowing you to then also scan/cleanup your WinOS drives, if need-be.
That's a joke and quite bias... why would you need MalwareBytes, but the same doesn't go for Kaspersky?
Kaspersky was the first one to find the American trojan virus created by the NSA (US Government) themselves to snoop on certain hard drive firmwares, which no other virus scanner could detect.
It does quite a good job when it comes to protection, I just think they pissed off America, that's all.
You really don't need CCleaner at all.
CCleaner is snakeoil. It meeses about with your registry if you're using Windows 10 and treats it as if the OS were Windows XP.
I was talking about the anti-virus software in the previous post, but as for CCleaner...
It's quite good clearing out junk and cache files, but yeah has an optional "registry cleaner" tool. You don't have to use that feature and might wish to avoid it even, depending on your Operating System.
