Hardline water cooling
Does anyone know any places in the uk that will add and custom bend your hardline water cooling tubes to fit a Mid tower ?

Ask your local PC shop I'd say, but it's best to just try it yourself, it's really not that hard, and if you are already committed to throwing a grand at your cooling system, another hundred on the tools and some spare tubing is nothing.

Buy a heat gun and a roll of tape. Fill tube with sand.Put tape over each end of tube.Heat tube.Bend tube.Empty the Sand.Rinse tube with water.Install tube. Poor boys have poor boy ways.

Or spend £2 on a silicon insert and don't properly, sand will scratch the hell out of the tubes and as such is a hell of a bad idea, plus it won't stop the tube deforming or crushing in on itself, never heard of anyone using sand before lol.

You dont know Jack do you all you know is spending money. Useing sand has been used for many years to form pipe so it will not crush itself. I have never heard of a silicon insert unless it was sold at a porn shop. That is completely different to pc watercooling, something you have clearly never done and don't know anything about.

To even attempt that with the pc thin tubing would s ratch the hell out of it and you couldn't pack it tight enough to even work, oddly, when we are talking about pc hard-line watercooling I didn't think for a second d someone would bring up construction techniques that are totally unrelated.
If you go into your example I am pretty sure it uses heavy duty pipe bending g equipment and a damn blowtorch!

Both things you won't be using on a clear 16mm at max tube for a pc loop.

What you will use is a silicon insert that will hold the tubes shape while you gently heat it then form the bend either by hand or on a form of some kind.

I'll admit I've never dabbled with custom loop water cooling but wouldn't something like this do the trick for "hard" tubes ?

https://www.screwfix.com/p/irwin-hilmor-multi-mini-tube-bender/28586

It's meant for bending copper pies.

Yes but it's completely overkill and could leave kinks on the end of the bend (as the tubing g us much softer) either do it free hand (actually really easy and how I did mine - some pics in profile) or get a cheap mandrel kit, I actually bought this one https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Barrow-ABS-Hardline-Pro-Mandrel-Bending-Kit-For-12mm-OD-Tubing-Water-Cooling-/171828516621 for 16mmtu e incase I needed it, but never did.

If you do choose to do it yourself one item I would really recommend is the https://www.primochill.com/products/primochill-rfb-rigid-tubing-finishing-bit it makes life soooo much easier and you can use it to trim tubes to length easily.

Yeah those kits look cool and totally overkill lol especially for a home user, by hand and eye is the best approach I reckon :)

yeah tho I might get one of those kits. Will be useable for more then just 1 loop or if you like to play around with such things.

For those who liek to have a basic kit with everything they really need, something like that:

Thing is, doing it by hand is easy and free:)

I'm pretty sure I could figure it out but it's better to check with some of you more experienced water cooling experts , I have never had water cooling before I might just stick with the NZXT kraken and maybe swap to hardline tubing later on if I overclocked, thank you all for the help , apart from that guy who said use sand to bend the pipes xD . Thank you and kind regards .
