GT 1030 2gb? and is this build any good?

I am looking at building a new computer soon that is a budget build and am wondering if the GT 1030 is worth it at 92.99?

Generally speaking, for major gaming no.

1050 Ti is really what you want to start with, or the normal 1050 at the very least.

And that GPU is way to weak for that system

dont bother getting a newer generation cpu if you want a low budget build, get an older cpu with ddr3 so you can afford a good graphics card.

A good GPU is useless if the CPU can't keep up with it. If OP buys olders stuff he will have to buy used, meaning no warranty while in general paying more then that it is actually worth.

-which GPU would you pair with a CPU?

The stronger is the GPU the most important is the CPU.
I see people suggested to buy an OC'd CPU for paperweight GPUs such as 1050ti...
