1050 Ti is really what you want to start with, or the normal 1050 at the very least.
And that GPU is way to weak for that system
Much better for $600.00
Considering i actually have a 2500k
I can say that getting newer IS better, which is what i'll be doing soon.
2500k is showing its age
https://www.cpubenchmark.net/compare/Intel-i5-2500K-vs-Intel-i5-6500/804vs2599 oh wait, the difference in single thread performance is under 10%! but "newer IS better"
YES its showing its age, and considering the fact i actually HAVE one i'm speaking from EXPERIENCE
And please dont use that site to try to justify your opinion lol
These new CPUs are significantly faster then this 8 year old stuff and you will see a huge difference.
That "super better newer" 6500 of yours is already 3 years old.
Here is a new CPU:
http://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i5-8500-vs-Intel-Core-i5-2500K/m447884vs619
Stop making up fairy tales. These new CPUs perform significantly better in modern games when combined with modern hardare then this 8 year old crap.
The 2700x scores better in passmark and other CPU benchmarks then the 8700k but... : https://youtu.be/9opZLroo4Yc
It loses in almost all gaming benchmarks..
-which GPU would you pair with a CPU?
The stronger is the GPU the most important is the CPU.
I see people suggested to buy an OC'd CPU for paperweight GPUs such as 1050ti...
News to me
wasnt aware ALL games ONLY use 1-2 Cores
cough
