Either the card is faulty or it doesn't like the Slot; that is usually the scenario.

What is the exact Motherboard model and the model of the PCIE WiFi Card?

Does the PC start fine without it installed?

Did you install the drivers when it WAS working?
Speaking of, which drivers do you have installed? from the CD or from their website?

Yea the card is faulty, return it, use a totally different one.

This one is decent and cheap. Has Intel WiFi & BT

Thing is my pc is known for causing trouble with these kind of situations
also do you think a usb would do better?

If you prefer slow, no antenna or range.... sure.

a USB one will do just fine if it comes with an extended USB cable and an adapter, that would solve any range issue.

I had a pci-e wifi and my pc wouldn't boot with it connected. I eventually went for a powerline ethernet connection. Stable like ethernet but without the hassle of feeding cables through the house.

Wonder lives in a country that uses 220Volt power outlets so I hope that they make those for that electric standard.

@Wonder: If having said WiFi card completely fails, SenMithrarin's idea will work.
