all laptops with gtx 1080 (in some cases, 1070 too) have overheat issues?
i want to buy a good laptop to run lastest games but after reading all negative reviews on amazon, im afraid laptop i buy would make me frustrated regarding cpu gpu temperature. what are noraml temp for cpu and gpu when u play triple A games?? my current laptop(asus with 980m) is exceptional in terms of maintaining low temperture. i think i have taken it for granted

No these laptops don't overheat. A manufacturer isn't going to sell a laptop that overheats for no reason. Yes these things will run hot while gaming but they will also have a pretty decent heatsink(s) build in to get rid of all the heat.

Not sure what folks expect from a gaming laptop; yes it's going to run at approx 80-90*C when you're gaming, that's normal for them. And you need to give it a break every so often.

The question is, do you really need a laptop?

School, Work.... on the go. Some of us dont have the luxury of coming home to a sitting area to only have that as a possible space to load up a game.

I know many within the court systems who have thanked me for recommending Laptops they knew nothing about, such as what's available from say; ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, Sager/Clevo

Many folks with jobs like them, yea they need a rock solid Laptop for work, so why pay for an UltraBook with a crap GPU when you can buy a Gaming-capable Laptop that can be good all-around for anything you throw at it.

then why people put up negative reviews??? the biggest issue gaming laptops have is overheating as far as I know

Because some people are idiots. They put these things on their lap while in bed.
