Pretty much any AAA game the last 3 years does even at 1080p. Many of them utilize even more then 4GB.
Playable fps depends on the eprson and the game. a FPS or esport title on 30 fps is a pain? a city building or RTS game doesnt really care.
What it is called that require 4 GB?
Who are you trying talk to? I'm not sure what would you come up with me.
https://www.tweaktown.com/tweakipedia/90/much-vram-need-1080p-1440p-4k-aa-enabled/index.html
look for yourself - first benchmark about VRAm requirment I found on google. Multiple games that rbeach 4GB VRAM barrier on 1080p. Nearly all break the 2GB VRAM barrier at the same resolution.
Just read the last couple post and you'll see at least 4 different ppl talking about if 30 fps is palyable or not.
I find no information that requirement 4 GB video card. They're all on higher setting, not lower setting that has min requirement. On last reply to me about 30 FPS, it is always debates whether 30 FPS or 60 FPS is better. This is not my first time I have heard like that. There was debates about $20 HDMI cable and $10,000 HDMI cable. The truth is noboby proven to be right IMO.
The FPS discussion is not. The fact to believe that human exes in fps in the first place is just wrong. there scientific test where pilots where shown a picture of an aircraft a 144th of a second and they where always able to identify the aircraft modell.
ppl read that at 23 fps the human eye start to see a pciture fleuntly and believe that a human eye cant see mroe then 23 fps. the fact is that humans eye can as it doesnt see in fps espaciall motion you see way beyond that.
If something si smooth or nor is personal preference and as asaid that ppl are actually able to see a difference is scientifically proven.
for HDMI cables it is not. despti that HDMI has the same technical limits no matter of the price.
Yes. Only one video have ever proven it is not going change what we can see. It is only difference in increasing a picasecond (ps). Cheap have copper/nickel and expensive have silver. I own the Oppo 205, There is the difference between cheap and expensive 4K player is the video output technology that increased a bit more of ps. So I played both 30 FPS and 60 FPS on PC and PS4, no difference found.
that said what is enough?
if you aim for 60 fps as a minimum it all depends on your settings and at ultra for example even the best cards struggle to maintain that in some new games even at 1080p no matter the vram...

keep in mind in that video there is no call of duty black ops 4, assassins creed odyssey etc...

if you aim for 30 fps on low settings just to be able to play depending on the game 1-2 gb vram can be enough...
what most ppl have is not the norm. You know, most ppl with a high end pc that having like 11GB VRAM now had once a GPU with only 2GB VRAM as a GTX 760 as example. Those cards not getting deleted out of the statistics.
On the other hand a lot of ppl still own a dual core CPU but that does not mean it is also up for the newer games. statsitics not only contain what every person for demanding games has and is able to play demaning games with - it contains all pc the where ever benched.
If I look at 40-45 or less fps it give headaches that last days.
Constant eye strain.
I can also see each individual frame in its brilliant choppyness.
Its not nice to look at. And its not playable (at least for me)
I can just about do movies. But if i watch for to long. Along comes the eye strain.
Same for youtube (unless its 60fps) and normal tv ( not that i ever watch it.)
So no. Its not acceptable in my eyes.
Call me an elitist if you want. Its not going to change the fact that 30fps is bad.
