4K is kinda wasted on 24" as the pixel density is so high you won't be able to tell it apart from a 24" 1440p screen. That is assuming you're viewing from normal desktop distance of course.
Monk 20/fev./2018 às 20:33
The main question is do you have the hardware to make 4k viable?
Personally I would go for 27/28inch for a 4k panel, it's sort of overkill at 24 inch, the only exception would be for professional photo editing where the extreme dpi could help.

Thats a plan for later. I ask about monitor only in term of graphics quality

Well, if you don't have top tier hardware you won't be able to run 4k properly and it will look worse than 1080p as you will need to drop all the settings.
Honestly, I don't think 4k makes sense for gaming yet, 1440p/144 is the best option right now, great clarity and refresh.

why 4K? There aren't anything for 4K yet worth buying for Gaming.
Wait til the 120/144 Hz panels come out.
Monk 20/fev./2018 às 20:51
Being stuck at 60fps is simply not worth it for the sake of resolution, especially at 24 inch, I'd honestly look at 1440p144 panels.

I donr care about 144hz tbh, 60fps is way more that enough for me

Has nothing to do with FPS; 60Hz panels are all poor.
Maybe you should understand that before you buy one.

I use 60hz monitor now. All i play is singleplayer games. And all of them are running smooth

The price diff is huge and 144hz isnt worth for me

Why? 60fps already so smooth.

Whatever you get, get NVIDIA GSync and a 1080 Ti

Gsync is too overpriced lol.
Monk 20/fev./2018 às 21:07
60 is fine until you try higher, then you get to see how smooth animations can really be, gsync is worth every penny, and frankly, if you are looking at 4k gaming, an extra 100 bucks should not be an issue, it's even more important on a 60Hz 4k panel to counter tearing and to smooth out the inevitable FPS drops.
You will not max out all the new and upcoming games at 4k on a 1080ti, as such, it is unlikely that a 2080 will pull it off either.
But, hey, it's your money, you asked, we answered.

Well im a person who prefered graphics than fps. 40-50 fps is good enough for me if i can get the best graphics

My gtx 1060 6gb cant maxed out a lot of AAA games especially newer one. But i still enjoy it even it cant hit 60fps on 1080p monitor

Mosh. I would suggest to keep 1080p monitor in your choose of refresh rate. 60 Hz, 120 Hz, 144 Hz or 240 Hz your call. I don't think GTX 1060 can hit 60 FPS on 4K. It take a lot of power.

Not true. 60 Hz might be not good enough for you but for Mosh. I'm pretty sure that he have right monitor choose. There is nothing wrong with my 60 Hz monitor in online gaming, nor TV at 60 Hz. I have Sony 49 inch 4K 120 Hz native and it is good enough for me. There is evidence that some monitor does not literally posted "native" on specs. EX: Sometime 240 Hz refresh really mean 120 Hz native.
