New Gtx 750 Ti not working
Hello I bough a new gtx 750ti as an upgrade from my hd Radeon 6870 and when I take out my old one and plug in my new one and check for nvidias drivers to my surprise it didn’t even detect it I’ve used DDU and everything
Specs: AMD phenom x4 965
Ram 8 gigs of 2 ddr3 ram sticks
Kingston 120GB ssd
Please add me or comment why my new gpu isn’t working
I’ve also plugged my HD Radeon 6870 and it’s working without problems. :steamsad:

I’ve tried everything from resetting my cmos battery to diffrent pci-e lane im using an hdmi to connect to my MOBO

Is the monitor cable plugged into the actual GPU. If it is and you are actually able to boot WIndows and see the desktop then chances are the GPU is functional. Don't try to detect it. Just download the drivers form NVidias website and install them.

I’ve tried with the hdmi in the gpu during the boot but no luck

Well that not the GPU. Your not using it in that case. That is the onboard graphics chip.

So viper are you out of ideas? I’m pretty R.I.P. I have no car so I can’t drive to the local tech store and have the card on a diff setup

Did you uninstall the AMD drivers.

Like I said I used DDU and all AMD drivers were uninstalled

Well if the GPU won't even boot. It sounds like its not working. You need to return it.

Fans spinning and powered on could it just be that the cards faulty?

Have you installed nvidia's GPU drivers for the GTX 750ti?

If no you have to go here and download them then install.

http://www.nvidia.co.uk/download/driverResults.aspx/130712/en-uk

or

https://www.geforce.com/drivers

It should still boot as it will use WIndows Generic GPU drivers.

Yeah it should but usually that's not the case when your coming from an AMD GPU to a nvidia one. I would personally download the ones from the site and run DDU again and then trying installing the drivers again that are from nvidia or geforce directly.
