Right idle temp for an i5 8600k
so i have an i5 8600k not overclocked with a cryorig h7 cooling it and at idle and/or with chrome running it sits between 50-55*C is that normal? do i need to reapply thermal paste maybe put some mx4 instead of the stuff that comes with the h7... under load say im playing pubg on medium settings it doesnt go above 62*C. in my previous build my G3258 dual core wouldnt idle at more than 35*C with the stock intel cooler

Well it's got 3x the cores running faster, the temps are fine, anything sub 90 is perfectly safe, I'd try overclocking it a bit to be honest.

idle temps dont matter much..on load temps matter.

You measure PC temps under full load, not at idle. Idle temps don't tell you anything useful.
