Issues with motherboard (Gigabyte X370 Gaming K7)
So I've been having an issue where my computer will not boot at all, even to the BIOS.

Here's what happens when I try to turn the computer on:
-Lights turn on

-Monitor will turn on, try to detect a cable, give the "No signal" message, then repeatedly restart until it eventually goes into sleep mode

-Motherboard debug LEDs will display either "A6" (SCSI devices not detected) or "A0" (IDE Initialization starting) before displaying "24". What's worrying me is that "24" is NOT in the manual or on Gigabyte's website. Sometimes it won't display the other two codes and just go straight to "24".

What I have done:
-Reset the CMOS battery (while this worked the last time I had the "24" error, it's not working now)

-Attempted to enter BIOS (nothing happening)

-Attempted multiple restarts, all had the same issue

I'm concerned because I cannot find anything related to my problem on Google. Anyone know what's happening and what I should do about it?

Could be a dead battery. Got a battery tester or meter laying around? Check if the battery is okay.

I don't have any of these things, but the battery for the board is only ~$2, so I could try replacing it

I replaced the battery (I made sure it's a CR2032)...

And nothing happened. The system simply will not boot.

I guess I need to RMA?

Have you tried making sure it is getting adequate power?

It could be a faulty motherboard. :(

I'm going to assume it's the board.

I've had bootlooping issues in the past, so I guess the motherboard decided to go out with a bang...

I'm sorry for your loss.

I just filed an RMA with Newegg

Could the mods close this thread please?

Did you update a BIOS recently? Gigabyte AMD BIOS was... crap. Dangerous even. Hopefully it didn't fry your CPU.

I got it working again...

By using an HDMI cable

How the hell did that even work?

I cancelled the RMA, I feel like an idiot

Hell, it's even displaying proper debug codes. How does a cable mess up the debug codes?
