RTX 2080 is not really a 4k gaming card. it can do it but with majorly reduced graphics settings to get above 60fps.
the CX600 psu while not really a quality psu will suffice. but if you upgraded to something better it wouldn't be a waste of money.
Would the CX600 suffice for a RTX 2080 then? Replacing the PSU is a easy, but doing all the cable management is a a bit of a pain lol.
Powersupply upgrade MIGHT be a good idea if you upgrade the GPU, the RTX's are slightly higher than the 1070. The full wattage requirement is only 550w, but ehhh... kinda iffy
I don't have a monitor, I currently have a 4K Sony Smart TV which I also use to play on my Xbox One X and watch Blu-rays. I don't have space for a monitor. Resolution scaling is pretty good on this TV though, 1080P, 1440P and a custom resolution of 1800P look great.
I won't be aiming for 4K or everything maxed, I value performance over visuals. I'm not massively excited for Ray Tracing either.
Cheers for the replies. :)
