Settings there are fine. Wanna doublecheck? Download https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html > memory tab... and voila.

If you got a "feeling" something perform less well than it should, name it.
It's not your dual channel Ram, trust me.
So just get an SSD put windows on it and it will fix it?
a hdd has always been the slowest part of a pc
to check that its running at the correct speeds and in dual ch mode use cpuz memory tab
spd tab will show each dimms xmp/spd profiles to see what each is capable of
Alright ill get that ssd install it and put windows on it and it should fix the performance issues on games installed on my hdd? I dont want to make my hard drive useless. I mean the symptoms are my pc is preforming slower in games than it should be.
the os on the ssd will speed up everything
boot time to 20sec or faster
instant browser loads
you can install steam on the ssd, but put the games library on the hdd
only install games on the ssd that are open world or use texture streaming
ssd will only improve load times not fps
So something like ac unity would be better on a ssd? or like ac origins to fix the fps crap in that game.
Yes but I have heard in some cases it can improve fps slightly and that would be great for something like ac origins. But so far i've only heard about those games giving an fps boost with an ssd.
Alight ill buy one and see if it fixes the performance on my computer. I never really had problems with loading screens and assets loading in slowly. What made me notice the issues was this video of ac unity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KEdGtdylj8I&t=71s
im not getting the fps hes getting and my computer is slightly more powerful than his with the exception of an ssd. My fps goes down to the 50s or 45 on that game in crowds and his never goes anywhere near that.
