Worth the price?
I did a in-depth research and found this beautiful laptop that has decent spec with a cheap price what do you think guys? Recently i posted here about building a pc with a 400$ budget without monitor that can cost me another 60-100$ but this one is only 320$ depending on my location. Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop, 15.6 inches Full HD IPS Display, AMD Ryzen 3 3200U, Vega 3 Graphics, 4GB DDR4, 128GB SSD, Backlit Keyboard, Windows 10 in S Mode, A515-43-R19L I will later upgrade it to 2x4gb and 240gb ssd

if it is for gaming: can you play gemes with windows 10 in S mode?

Entry level. Don't expect any sort of quality or performance when gaming.
Small SSD leaves not much space for games and anything else. Even upgrading to a 240GB SSD = not much space.
going for 2x8GB DDR4 would be better although that GPU means you can't run games well so you may never need more than 8GB.

What are the specs of the 4GB DDR4? higher Mhz the better

It's a Laptop. Once you but it you can't upgrade the CPU or GPU you need to buy a complete new laptop. Don't have that issue with a Desktop. If you bought a Desktop now you could always add a better GPU later. I've have various Desktop parts over the years and kept using several of them for 10+ years. If I'd used a laptop I would have spent more and thrown out 2-3 laptops in 10 years.

Not sure but you can convert S to Home easily.

You'll probably want to spend at least $1K when it comes to laptops. Budget laptops are usually very, very disappointing, and you will see why when you pit that Vega 3 GPU against most mainstream titles.

It depends on what you are going to do with it. For games it is mostly useless apart from something small/old. For internet/videos/docs etc - more or less fine, 4GB of RAM will still be a pain, as well as 128GB of storage...
CPU is similar to something one could expect from desktops ~10 years ago, so not great but not as terrible as some atoms or celerons either.

Hmm that laptop is junk in so many ways. And never get one where the Windows 10 is in S Mode.

One thing for sure, the 3200u will be the only ~$400 laptop that will be able to play entry level games:

Not when you have S Mode. This means all you have access to is Windows Store.

Any laptop that ships with less than 8gb ram also, will be terrible.

Go on a site where you select what you want in it.

Agree, needs a full reinstall, at least 8gb upgrade to 3200 speed (most come with 2400, because intel leftovers lol) and a storage upgrade of some sort. A bit of work but not unusual for a typical budget laptop.

Or just get a Ryzen model with 8gb ram, then can add 8gb more later. And at least a 500gb ssd so you have some room to work with.

Ryzen and Intel 8th/9th gen laptops should include 2666mhz ram. Dont buy 3200mhz ram for a laptop.

I have the HP Pavilion with the 1050ti, I would avoid - constant overheating, the cooling is not sufficient.
