BIOS battery dead?
So a week ago, there was a heavy thunderstorm. Before it arrived i unolugged anything that is connected to the outlet from my pc(Internet cable, psu cable, hdmi and audio jack). The PC was off about 16h(until i come from school the other day). When i booted pc i was presented by the Black screen followed by my pc config and F1 for setup and F2 to continue. I pressed f1 but pc restarted and got me into bios. After leaving bios it took about 2 mins for my pc to boot up(960 evo). After that everything was fine except date and time(the pc worked fine for a week). Right now im moving from smaller room to the bigger one. If my pc does this again does it mean i have to buy a battery (20-32 if not mistaken). Motherboard is MSI B350M Mortar (almost 2yo)

It's like $1 for a replacement battery...
Your date/time is not set probably because your CR2032 battery is dead. You can replace it for as cheap as $1 like MancSoulja said. When you open up your PC you should find it straight away.

Might be hidden behind the GPU, but yeah, the batteries are as good as free and OP made a correct diagnosis.
So its must be the battery. Its under the gpu om my mobo. Will change it as soon as possible and will leave the feedback
cr 2032 should last over 10 years in a mobo
odds are bios got reset for some reason

if it continues to get reset, try a new battery
if that still does not fix it, you will need to rma or get a new mobo
If the battery doesn't fix it alone, reflash the bios
if it was lightning damage, file a claim with insurance and check for other things around the house that may have been damaged

10 years never had BIOS battery last more than 5 years 3 to 5 years
The CMOS battery is a small battery fitted on the motherboard of your computer. It has a life of around five years.

Shelf life is 3-5 years. Like the other non-rechargeables, lithium non-rechargeable batteries have no cycle life. Our experience with them is that lithium non-rechargeable batteries should last 10-12 years. Factors that determine shelf life is the quality of the manufacturing process, the chemical composition, etc
The battery is rated for the standard warranty of the board which is generally 3 years for most.

I've seen some cr2032 last just 2 years and sometimes they lasted up to 5 years
