Anyone ever heard of Corn Electronics? There is a newegg flash sale listing for RX580 4GB models made by Corn Electronics for 48% off, making them 104.99..

If this were alli express or ebay I would think its an overseas knockoff, but form newegg in a flash sale?...

All I can find for Corn Electronics are ebay links to mostly dirt cheap branded peripherals and old crap mixed with some overpriced new stuff. And their Newegg page which you already linked.

I would say avoid, either it's a scam or a mining card.


Too bad Ebay doesn't show for how long a seller has been active. A new seller with a 99.4% rating and 4000 reviews would raise red flags.

I've never heard of it, and I would be inclined to avoid it.

I mean, you could buy it, and chances are it could work fine, but I'm gonna go with no thanks, and recommend everyone avoid it.

So from the looks of this it *is* a real card, and sadly *is* named 580 despite it not being that, but its more a 570.

Still not a bad deal if thats the case. A 570 4GB still runs 20-30 bucks more than this.
