How to get as much performance as possible with this computer

I got this PC for Christmas and I want to get higher frame rates.

I have already tried

Overclocking
High Performance Mode

Are there any other ways I can get higher performance?

Upgrade the CPU to an FX 8350 (If motherboard allows it)
Upgrade the GPU
Buy a Better PC

Whoever got you that PC made a BIG mistake in doing so with how outdated it is.

Technically the Rx 560 is a bottom feeder and deserves an up grade.

Basically a GPU like the Rx 580 / GTX1660 would actually do the world of good for your FPS.

Ps, I run my FX8350 with a GTX1070, don't get hung up on bottlenecks they'll vary from ok I've got one to who cares.

what mobo does it have?
makes a big difference on cpu support and oc ability
if its a msi board do not overclock at all
gigabyte or asus will support fx 125w cpus, but willl throttle when vrms get hot

FX6300 although old and obsolete ^ it still gets good enough fps with a real GPU.

If he's got the budget (which it sounds like not) start over with an RTX 1660ti and Ryzen 5/7 16GB DDR4.

You have an RX 480 that you flashed a 580 BIOS onto, that doesnt make it a 580.

There is very little that you can't run well still using an fx6300 or fx8350. Overall get better gpu like 580 4gb or better, along with 16gb ram, an ssd and clean install of latest build of Win10 64bit

Clean install latest build of Win10 64bit and configure it for better performance. Then install all latest drivers for all hardware, such as motherboard chipset, gpu, audio, lan, wifi, etc.

However when it comes to games, you'll have to configure the visuals for best performance on a per-game basis

It's a prebuild correct? Then best bet is wiping the drive and clean install latest Win10

First, can you install Speccy and then load that up, then click File > Publish, copy and paste the link in here that it provides.

well in that case then if you don't want to do anything then, NO there's very little to nothing you can do to make it perform any better.

Set your game's resolution lower and lower graphics settings.

That would increase load on his CPU, because it's sending more frames for the GPU to render.
With a trash CPU like the FX 6300, it's not a very good idea.

1080p, and tune graphics settings to get 60fps, best thing you can do tbh.
