the lightspeed technology of Logitech is just fine, have seen no delay there.

No moues is worth $149.99 especially win they use cheap Chinese components to build the mouse.

Have you had a look at the G-Pro Wireless?
I'm honestly considering one, based on your other thread, you're looking for a simple mouse that is customizable, which the G-Pro Wireless is.
Also packs the best sensor you can get, it's light, wireless, and supposedly long battery life.

Well for Logitech Wireless Mice I would either go with G703 or G903 so you can use the PowerPlay Mousepad. This allows Induction charging so you dont have to charge the wireless mouse which is really nice then.

Corsair and Razer offers the same but I dislike Razer mcies personally and with Corsair you only can charge the Mosue in a specific corner of the pad and not on the entire pad.

Otherwise a good wireless mouse should also offer to sue the mosue with an USB cable to charge while still using it wired. Soem few mices require to put them into a docking station to charge which I also dislike.

must have missed that - but thats nice that more logitech mices now support PowerPlay. I'm a huge fan of that "new" development.
Sorry for the necro but I didn't want to start an identical thread.

I bought a G502 Lightspeed the other day (at great expense) and I find it the best mouse I ever owned since my G502 Proteus Core. I was hesitant to play FPS games in wireless but was very surprised at how flawless this mouse is. The only down side is the extreme cost of the mouse ($250.00AUD in JB HiFi), but I am glad I have it now.

One day I will buy the PowerPlay mat.

It's not like old vs new in terms of gaming mice matters. Half of the specs and features will never be noticed or felt by the user. It's all marketing BS.

In all honesty, that was a tounge-in-cheek remark about the amazing low power usage of the new gen hero sensor specifically - the older stuff is just fine, just need to recharge more.

Edit - May? holy necro Batman! At least it was this year heh

Technology advanced, you won't notice an input delay between wired or wireless.

Ahem - battery life, g305 = 250 hours in performance mode, up to 9 months in eco mode... on a single AA lithium battery. Incredible IMO
