Can driver version affect a GPU's overclocking potential?
I overclocked my 2080 months ago, and wasn't able to get higher than 185 memory clock offset while others have pushed it to the 700s without issue. Was that just a bad driver issue, or did I just get bamboozled that terribly by the silicon lottery?

Seems like it might, running Heaven and raising the offset higher than 185, which was my stable max before, doesn't give issues. I was able to raise memory clock offset to 600 in 3DMark without flickering.

They can impact performance substantially and overclocking to a point (mainly on the high end beyond bormal temp limits of air coolers)
