We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one
I get this error when trying to install Windows 10 on my SSD.

I tried doing this but it hasn't helped
https://appuals.com/fix-we-couldnt-create-a-new-partition-or-locate-an-existing-one/

After I did that my second partition where I had another OS disappeared and I couldn't boot Windows anymore.

if its a used drive with nothing you want on it, use dban to wipe it
then initialize, partition and format it as 1 big partition

i suggest you remove old hdd and attach the ssd as the sole drive.
install windows 10 on it.
if prompted, choose to delete drive, then format drive using windows installer as seen in the picture.
after windows 10 is installed into the new ssd, install chipset drivers and reboot.
attach your old hdd.

I tried without HDD. You can see in the picture I posted that there's only one drive connected.

I have Windows 10 installed on the firstpartition that I don't want to delete. On the second partition (the one shown in the picture) I had Steam library folder with some games installed.

The original plan was to just install Windows on the second partition without formatting so I don't have to redownload games.
But because I got that error,I formatted that partition because I thought that'll fix it. But I'm still getting the same error.

Can I keep other partition intact while using dban to wipe the partition where I want to install Windows?

No you are going to have to clone it to another drive first, like an old hdd that is not failing - will effectively be both your backup and a way to revert to the old OS if you have to.

Just boot it back up with another HDD in there that you can clone it to, fire up Macrium Reflect or whatever clone utility of your choice. Once done, remove the backup HDD and reinstall on SSD.

Once that's done, reinstall the HDD and recover files off of it

EDIT - ok I think I see the problem...

"...I have Windows 10 installed on the firstpartition that I don't want to delete. On the second partition (the one shown in the picture) I had Steam library folder with some games installed..."

so that pic shows your SSD only having one partition that spans the entire disk. Does not appear to have any space left for another partition.

It's possible you originally had it where your HDD booting up as your C: and your steam games on your SSD as your D: drive, which is the partition that is showing up in the pic.

I just wanted to try it with dban, but then I read this on their page:
While DBAN is free to use, there’s no guarantee your data is completely sanitized across the entire drive. It cannot detect or erase SSDs and does not provide a certificate of data removal for auditing purposes or regulatory compliance. Hardware support (e.g. no RAID dismantling), customer support and software updates are not available using DBAN.

I booted Ubuntu, fully formatted SSD and it worked.

BTW, by following this guide
https://appuals.com/fix-we-couldnt-create-a-new-partition-or-locate-an-existing-one/
it wiped the entire SSD instead of just partition I choose.
