Mouse randomly stops working, freezes, makes a windows hardware remove sound, and after 2-3 seconds unfreezes
I got this new mouse, I really like it, suits me very well except that it randomly freezes every 15-20 minutes, makes this sound https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oycaqucEhGk, and unfreezes. I tried changing USB ports but it keeps doing it. Might be a software issue, what could I do to fix it?

Edit: Although it makes the hardware remove sound, it still shines red and doesn't act like I unplugged it, just doesn't work...

use the mouse on another computer or try a different mouse on your computer.

Other mice don't do this, also this mouse seems to work just fine on other computers

try a different usb port
if its on a port thats shared with other devices it may be the other device using its bandwidth
(stacked ports share the same controller)

Now it got even worse, its happening 4-5 times per minute... All I found in the event logs were stuff like this at the time when it happens.
Driver Management has concluded the process to add Service HidUsb for Device Instance ID USB\VID_093A&PID_2510\6&21DDEADA&0&4 with the following status: 0.

and so on...
If you installed drivers for the mouse, remove them and try again. If you haven't, see if there are any for this particular mouse you have.

If that doesn't work and you insist that the mouse works on other computers without a problem, then you're left with two options:

1) Stop using the mouse.
2) Do a clean install of your OS (back up anything important first)
Carlsberg 11 maja 2019 o 21:39
In device manager uninstall the mouse, reboot the machine and plug it back in. Also try uninstalling the usb hubs/controllers.

Check for updated chipset drivers and correct/updated usb drivers.

A clean install of the OS for a mouse driver conflict is just a little OTT.

I already tried that, the mouse is somehow fine on other PCs... So I guess there's a conflict between my computer and the mouse, weird.

Tried that, didn't work. I contacted the mouse manufacturers, I can't find the drivers for it, their website is crap. The mouse is a REDRAGON GAINER M610.

My USB ports are already 2.0, and I read that xhci/echi is to make them work like 2.0. Thanks anyways
