Is my new RTX 2060 faulty?
I bought a new EVGA RTX 2060 6gig and I'm not sure if its faulty and I should return it.

I ran the 3D mark demo free on Steam. It was running pretty bad at around 20-40 fps. It always had black bars flickering on the screen every 10 seconds during the demo. Then the demo ended, and it went back to the demo start screen I think, then my entire screen turned white. I could not use any keyboard commands to go back to desktop, and I had to restart my computer.

I've used my GPU for about 5 weeks, playing the Witcher 3. I was getting 60pfs 1080p for about a month. The card was fine. But now when I try to load the game, sometimes it will just go to a black screen, and I always have to restart my computer.

My temps for my computer with just Chrome open are:
CPU-34*C
GPU-33*C
Mainboard-30*C

After playing the Witcher 3 for about an hour, I close the game and my temps were:
CPU-51*C
GPU-77*C
Mainboard-34*C
(I have 4 fans in my case, and a water cooler on my CPU)

I think my card might be faulty because it's starting to do black screens, and the white screen trying that 3Dmark Demo.

I am returning the card to Amazon. I will be looking around at different RTX 2060 cards, trying to find the best one. The one I am returning only had 1 fan on it, and I saw a 2060 for $10 more that had 2 fans. Or I may wait and buy one before the end of the year, hoping that prices may drop.

Thanks for the help though.

Oof if you wait till the end of the year the RTX 3060 will come out by that time, then you will wait till that RTX 3060 drops in price, then the RTX 4060 will come out, etc.

Buy now or wait forever, I did that for 3 years and totally regret it because I could have spent that time gaming.
There's also two different models of each RTX model.

The cards which are factory overclocked use binned GPUs which are known to run well at higher frequency. You aren't allowed to use the other GPU for these. The other GPUs are what's left over so to say.
However Nvidia is stopping that and there will only be those capable to perform better in the future. The difference is unlikely massive but it exist. I still don't think it's worth paying like $100 extra for a OC model.

No idea why stupid Amazon show me GTX 1650 cards when I search for RTX 2060. Makes it annoying to browse.
$350:
EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 XC Black Edition Gaming, 6GB GDDR6, HDB Fan Graphics Card 06G-P4-2061-KR
MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDRR6 192-bit HDMI/DP Ray Tracing Turing Architecture VR Ready Graphics Card (RTX 2060 Ventus XS 6G OC)
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Mini ITX OC 6G Graphics Card, Mini ITX Form Factor, 6GB 192-bit GDDR6, GV-N2060IXOC-6GD Video Card
ASUS GeForce RTX 2060 6GB Phoenix Fan Edition VR Ready HDMI DP DVI Graphics Card (Ph-RTX2060-6G)
$360:
PNY NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB XLR8 Gaming Overclocked Graphics Card (VCGGTX10606XGPB-OC)
MSI GAMING GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDRR6 192-bit HDMI/DP Ray Tracing Turing Architecture VR Ready Graphics Card (RTX 2060 VENTUS 6G OC)
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 OC GG Graphics Card, 2X Windforce Fans, 6GB 192-bit GDDR6, Gv-N2060OC-6GD REV2.0 Video Card
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Windforce OC 6G Graphics Card, 2X Windforce Fans, 6GB 192-bit GDDR6, GV-N2060WF2OC-6GD Video Card
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 2060 Windforce OC 6G Graphics Card, 2X Windforce Fans, 6GB 192-bit GDDR6, Gv-N2060WF2OC-6GD REV2.0 Video Card
$10 more I would pay to know I get an A-model GPU. Also maybe some warranties doesn't cover overclocking and in those cases even if the non-OC card would be able to deliver similar performance you'd possibly gamble warranty vs higher performance whereas with the OC card you'd get it by default and don't have to think about that.
