ROM Image is not loaded, ROM Image update denied
Hello guys, I bought a PC 4 weeks ago and then it suddenly crashed during a csgo match. It bootlooped because of the bluescreens. After 3 restarts, which ended with bluescreens everytime, it threw me into the BIOS and there was the message which is showing in the threadtitle. I already checked my RAM, updated the BIOS to F7, downgraded to F5 and sent the mainboard + cpu to mindfactory (german website for hardware and software) so they can check if theres anything wrong. I got it back today, everythings fine.
What could be the problem, I really dont know what to do at this point.

What brand of motherboard is this?
Gigabyte (Z390 Gaming X)

What were the exact bluescreen codes you were getting?
"PAGE FAUL IN NONPAGED AREA"
"SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED"
"DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EGUAL" storahci.sys
"IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL"
"KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED"

If it's that new, I would try to get a refund. That's a pretty low-level (serious) error which I believe indicates a hardware problem. Is it a Gigabyte motherboard by any chance because ISTR reading about this affecting them. This is completely unreasonable in a brand new computer, makes it unfit for purpose, and you can't be denied a refund (in a EU country) within six months of purchase with that reason. I bet the seller is well aware of the problem too.
I'll phone the hotline tomorrow to tell them that i want to send them the whole pc hardware so they can check it. Im pretty annoyed of getting bluescreens all the time and nothings going on.

Those are normally Driver or RAM related
Storahci is HDD/SSD related
So faulty hardware could be likely

To test RAM, did you try using 1 stick individually in normal usage or did you simply use a Memory diagnostic?

Do you have a different SSD/HDD you can install the OS on to test?
As far as that goes, do you have multiple drives installed?

Yes i checked the RAM, all worked fine.
No i dont have different SSD or HDD for testing.
No i dont have multiple drives installed.

I'll just send the whole pc to mindfactory so they can check the whole system, hardware and software. Hopefully they can fix the problem, or they maybe just give me a new system because of the 6 months garanty i have.
I will post updates here if you guys are interested.

Yes, i sent back my stuff AGAIN and they now checked EVERYTHING. They forgot to check the CPU the first time cause it was still on the mainboard and the CPU was the problem. They sent me a new one and now everything is working fine again, never had the problem again.

be carefule when buying pre builds, they often are advertised as brand new but not even being sold by the company who built them and usually are re sold for an exact price they owner grabbed them for ddue to these reasons, buying pre builds i go straight to the site of the company i am buying from to ensure its coming from the source for safety reasons

They forgot to check the CPU the first time? Your codes sounded like a bad overclock outcome, so maybe they gave you a previously returned CPU that otherwise passed basic tests.

All the BSODs you listed, in my experience, can becaused by crummy other hardware or drivers, but more often than not, someone set the CPU config in the bios to be... perhaps the word I should use is "aggressive." Sometimes that causes damage.

Which could result in someone with the same issues returning their CPU or computer if things go poof/boom!

I am glad you were able to get them to, maybe in an indirect way, recognize the issue the second time around, and do the right thing for you and replace the CPU.

The CPU was still on the mainboard cause i thought it would be the safest method for the transport, otherwise i would had to just use some old newspaper to protect it.
